Regent's Park | rain, tea rose, elderflower & lemon
Share
A nod to Queen Mary’s Rose Garden with notes of tea rose that swirls through a fragrance range from sweet to tart to earthy and fresh. Enveloped in the mesmerising scent of roses is an undertone of rain and fresh water, an ode to the lake that wraps itself around the belly of the park as it’s touched by the tips of willow trees and dewy grassed banks.
A more personal note to top off the fragrance – after all, scent and memory are irrevocably intertwined – is elderflower and lemon. Wandering along The Broad Walk deep within Regent’s Park, trees flank either side until suddenly they fade away and a tiny Tudor-style hut emerges. Inside, a curious concoction of elderflower and lemon tea brews. Chatting to the owner as he brews and pours, he casually name drops a host of celebrities who frequent the park. Perhaps they order elderflower and lemon tea, too?
